Have you ever wanted a golf coach standing next to you at the range? I have too but those darn coaches can cost you arm and a leg. When they contacted us to see if we would review their product, I really wasn't sure what to expect. We normally do reviews on clubs, balls, apparel etc.
What is The Pocket Caddie?
It is an audio guide that you can listen to while on the driving range or training center. It gives you instant instruction on how to practice better and if you listen carefully, make your golf game better. They use proven golf drills and techniques from top PGA tour pros to give you great and easy to follow instructions.
How It Works
You can purchase the files on their website or on iTunes, then sync them to your iphone or other audio device. Then head to the golf course with your instant golf instruction. Each tip and instruction section is about a minute long, which I thought was perfect. No one wants to see some dude with his headphones on and not hitting golf balls. Your first thought would be, 'Stop listening to Spice Girls bro, and go hit some golf balls.' Yes, that was a Spice Girls reference. You will only find those here at Bunkers Paradise. So the one minute instructions are the perfect amount of time. Don't worry, while the one minute is short, the instructions are very clear and easy to understand, which in turn give you more quality practice time.
Below is a quick example that I downloaded to our YouTube channel just for visual purposes. This quick one minute instruction has to do with chipping out of the deep rough. Have a listen for yourself and imagine yourself at the golf range working on some chipping drills.

Final Thoughts
I listened to every single one of the first series about Wedge Drills and was impressed with how clear and easy to understand the instructions were. I was able to use my IPhone at the range without holding up anyone else. I even learned a few things that I will add to my practice sessions from this point forward. As about a 13 handicap golfer, I will be using The Pocket Caddie when I need to work on my game. For the cost of $11.99 it's a no brainer to me that everyone looking to improve their game should go out purchase The Pocket Caddie. That $11.99 would be about 20 minutes with a golf instructor, then you would have to start washing his car or mowing his lawn for more instructions.
