As the golf industry grows we tend to see trends gearing towards the comfort and convenience of the average golfer. Part of growing the game is making it more appealing for a wide range of players. The majority of golfers I know all have "stand" bags that make walking the course a breeze with the ability to heave their golf clubs on their back like a high schooler shlepping text books through the halls. The advent of “super lite” bags has increased this trend dramatically. And on the third day, the push/pull cart was born. Currently, the trend of carts has turned to "push" rather than "pull" and leading the pack is the ClicGear 3.5. ClicGear has been kind enough to send one to Bunkers Paradise for review and I can already tell you, this is a front runner for my "Product of the Year." There have been quite a few reviews about the upgrade differences between the 3.0 and the 3.5+ but I’m here to give you a top to bottom review of the push cart for anyone that may not have any experience with ClicGear. First, here are some of the major features of the 3.5+: -Brake Handle -Umbrella Clip -Cup Holder -Storage Net -Easy Clip Bag Straps -Oversized Tubing -Slide-to-Close Mechanism -Airless Tires Let’s get to the testing results. How does it look? The ClicGear 3.5+ has a dominating presence on the golf course. At least once a round I get comments like “Wow, look at that thing”, “that is a tank”, and “Whoa that cart is serious business”. This is a testament to the amount of badass-ery involved in the looks of the 3.5+. From the brake handle to the solid wheel-base, each component looks as if they just fit perfectly.  One look at the 3.5+ and you can immediately see that you will get your moneys worth. 20130612_203446 How does it perform? When using a cart (push or pull) it is often desirable to feel a sense of sturdiness as no one really likes a frail vessel to transport their precious tools of golf around the course. There needs to be a sense of confidence as to inspire the ability to put any worries about the terrain out of your mind. The ClicGear 3.5+ has proven to me that it is not the Cadillac of push carts, but the Jeep Wrangler 4x4 built to tackle any obstacle thrown its way with ease and precision. In every round I have played with the 3.5+ I have gone without one glimpse of struggle or inconvenience. The 3.5+ truly can provide a performance only described as “perfect”. Now here is the gem of it all. Most push/pull carts on the market today may have a solid showing but fail to impress with its portability and physical footprint. The ClicGear 3.5+ is going to blow your mind in this area. Not only is the 3.5+ the sturdiest and well-constructed cart I have encountered, it is also the most compact when folded up. The 3.5+ can fold to an astounding 13”x15”x23” to easily fit into trunks, truck beds, back seats, laps, or any 2-square foot space. Final Thoughts: There are a lot of great products and technology in the golf world. In my opinion, the ClicGear 3.5+ push cart is the most functional accessory you can buy. It has all the features a golfer can ask for (aside from a built-in kegorator) and delivers these features with the highest quality. The ClicGear 3.5+ is moderately priced at $219.99 and comes in an assortment of vibrant colors.
