There is a certain breed of golfer that will essentially play in any situation, any condition. When it is storming of any kind outside the hardcore will still venture their way to at least the range to put in work towards a never ending quest of progression. As these golfing warriors drudge through the elements they will need the tools to mitigate the hurdles involved. That is just a fancy way of saying "we all need rain gear".
Nike Golf has released a new rain jacket called the Hyperadapt Storm-FIT. That is quite a name for a rain coat. But there is so much more to it than just a fancy name. The new Hyperadapt Storm-FIT (we'll just call it the Hyperadapt for now) is truly the new standard for all-weather gear in golf.

How does it look?
Within my first week of wearing the Hyperadapt I received compliments at least once a day on how nice it looks. I was essentially wearing it as a regular fall jacket rather than just for inclement weather.
The Hyperadapt really exudes style without flashiness. The layered look of the core body and contrasted sleeves have a sleek and no-nonsense feeling to it. Throw in the venom-green zipper and Nike swoosh and you can instantly feel the quality of this product.
How does it feel?
The Hyperadapt is not going to blow your mind when you put it on with how it feels. It feels like an average windbreaker with a bit more structure to it. There really isn't anything bad to say about the feel at all. It is essentially a fall/spring jacket that is posing as just a rain jacket.
How does it perform?
Here is the special part about the Nike Hyperadapt Storm-FIT. This jacket is so versatile, it's unreal. I have been able to use it in any situation (outside of sub 50* weather) from every day wear to a downpour on the course.
So what sets this jacket apart from other golf-oriented rain gear? The ability to swing unhindered. Yes, unhindered to a point of feeling as if it is just another sweater-like over garment. This is not to say that you won't feel it but it will certainly not impede your ability to make a full back-swing without feeling like a folded up lawn-chair.

Coming in at $240 for a half-zip and $280 for a full-zip, you are going to have to feel like you are investing in a jacket for the long haul.
